The concept of rapid casting not only subverts the time of traditional casting but also finely controls the size and quality of castings and improves the efficiency of product R & D and verification.
The production principle of rapid casting is 3D printing sand mould + smelting casting. 3D printing simplifies the sand mould of complex products, reduces the impact of human factors on the quality of traditional processes, and finely controls the size and machining allowance of products to ensure the machining efficiency of products; 3D sand mould printing is not constrained by product size and shape. It can modify parameters for technical adjustment, quickly and accurately help customers solve problems in the R & D and design verification stage, reduce R & D costs and improve verification speed and efficiency.
Different types of resin moulding sand and plastic moulding sand can be used to meet customers’ needs, also applicable to all materials of traditional castings, such as iron, aluminium, steel, copper and other alloys.
Vacuum casting is a manufacturing technology that uses a vacuum to draw liquid casting material into a mold. It differs significantly from injection molding, which pushes liquid material into a mold using a screw.
Selective laser sintering (SLS) is an additive manufacturing technique that uses a laser as the power source to sinter powdered material (typically nylon or polyamide), aiming the laser automatically at points in space defined by a 3D model, binding the material together to create a solid structure.
Investment casting is also known as the “lost wax” processor “precision” casting. In this process, a wax pattern must be made for every casting and gating system; i.e., the design is expendable. This process offers the end-user good value for money. A good surface finish, complex geometry, and cast features are desirable without the necessity of extensive machining or other fabrication/ finishing work required to provide a usable end item.
